Short answer: Both creams list organic aloe first. Aloderma Aloe Hydrating Cream comes in a 1.76 oz (50 g) jar and includes essential oils such as mandarin and bergamot. Corium 21 comes in an 8 oz jar, a quart and a gallon, lists certified organic aloe vera first, and is sold in Classic Fragrance or Fragrance Free. In October 2026, Aloderma's jar worked out to about $12.49 per ounce and Corium 21's 8 oz jar to $8.00 per ounce.
We make Corium 21, so we've kept this to facts from each brand's own product page, checked on October 29, 2026. Corium 21 is not affiliated with Aloderma. Formulas and prices change, so check the current label before you buy.

Where is Aloderma made?
Aloderma's product page says its aloe is grown on the brand's own farms and processed on site within 12 hours of harvest. The page doesn't name the farm's location. It lists a shipping address in Perris, California, and an office in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Which is better for very dry skin?
Both are creams, which dermatologists generally prefer over lotions for dry skin. Aloderma's formula leans on glycerin, shea butter and hyaluronic acid (an ingredient that holds water in the skin); Corium 21 pairs aloe with glycerin, emollients (oils and waxes that soften skin) and vitamins. The bigger practical differences are scent and size: if you want no fragrance at all, including essential oils, Corium 21 Fragrance Free leaves fragrance out entirely. If you use cream on your hands, feet and body every day, Corium 21's quart and gallon pump bottles cost less per ounce.
Is Aloderma aloe gel the same as an aloe cream?
No. Aloe gel is light and water-based; it feels cooling but can leave very dry skin feeling tight once it dries. A cream adds oils and emollients that help hold moisture in. Read more in aloe vera cream vs aloe vera gel.
